Ousted Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui today castigated “blackmailer” Mayawati for “falsely accusing” him of collecting membership money and failing to deposit to the party’s exchequer. “If you carefully listen to the audio, Maywati herself is remarking about the membership books. I told her that I don’t have any membership money with me. She asked me to deposit membership money regardless of that, but I denied of having collected it,” said Siddiqui.
Siddiqui said he met BSP state headquarters in-charge Ram Avtar Mittal who confirmed that no membership book settlement was pending with him. “I met Mittal. He said that I don’t have any membership money pending with me. He also has a record of it. If the record clearly states that I don’t owe any money then how can she (Mayawati) falsely accuse me,” Siddiqui said.
Siddiqui further said that he had asked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynanath for Z+ security as he was getting threatening messages. Earlier, Siddiqqui had accused Mayawati of torturing senior BSP leaders and forcing them to leave the party.
“A number of BSP leaders have been tortured. Few were humiliated and were sacked form the party. Who didn’t left they were tortured to such an extent that they themselves left the party,” he said.
Referring to the charges framed against him, Siddiqui said that the BSP chief had a habit of framing new stories for saving herself.
