Fake alert! After Lalu Prasad tweets a 'morphed' picture of Patna rally, Twitter gets creative

News agency ANI also tweeted a video of the rally, watch it yourself to know whether the image that Lalu Prasad tweeted looks fake or real

It was a massive show of strength in Patna on Sunday as West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad attended at the mega anti- BJP rally organised by Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad.

Along with several big political faces, Lalu Yadav’s wife Rabri Devi, sons Tejaswi and Tej Pratap Yadav, and daughter Misa Bharti were also seen occupying the prime spot at the rally in Gandhi Maidan.

Ecstatic with the huge crowds that had gathered for the rally, the former Bihar chief minister tweeted several pictures thinking people for coming out in huge numbers. But what caught everyone’s attention on Twitter was that the RJD chief tweeted a seemingly morphed picture of the crowd to show a larger crowd than real of those who were attending the rally.

This is the picture that Lalu tweeted:

However, soon after news agency ANI also tweeted a picture from the same spot to show how many people were actually present. The crowd in both the pictures – one that Lalu tweeted, and the one that ANI tweeted – have a huge difference in number.

Others also pointed out that the crowd at the top right and the resolution of dots was different and at a higher resolution.

Thereafter, Twitter was in no mood to spare the RJD chief after they spotted the error on the social networking site. What was hilarious that they came up with their own version of ‘photoshopped’ images in reply to the RJD chief’s picture.

Here is the video of the rally tweeted by ANI. Watch it to know yourself whether the image looks fake or real.
