Here’re the “few” crime records of UP’s next CM Yogi Adityanath

BJP promised that it would end Goondaraj in UP. However, their decision of choosing Adityanath who is facing several criminal charges speaks otherwise

The Bharatiya Janata Party sent a wave of shock and surprise by naming the firebrand Gorakhpur MP Yogi Adityanath as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Adityanath and his cabinet of ministers will be sworn in at a grand ceremony in Lucknow tomorrow.

Adityanath, who is a five-time Member of Parliament from Gorakhpur, was first elected at the age of 26 and is a mascot of the BJP’s Hindutva-cloaked agenda of development.
Though, the BJP had claimed that it would end the Goondaraj and corruption if chosen to power, they seem to have forgotten their rhetoric and have chosen a CM who isn’t a stranger to criminal cases.

A Hindu boy was killed after some people opened fire on a Muslim procession during Muharram in 2007. When the youth succumbed to the injuries, Adityanath vowed to deliver justice to the Hindus. Following his announcement, which led to the Gorakhpur riots, he was arrested and remanded for a fortnight, on the charges of disturbing peace. He was jailed under Section 151A, Sections 146, 147, 279, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
