Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi on Friday tweeted out a photo of some posters that have been put up in the city. What the photo reveals is that Kiran Bedi is portrayed as Adolf Hitler, one of the most notorious dictators in the history. She also tweeted another picture saying that there is a series of posters that have come up in the city. While the first one portrayed her as Hitler, the other one shows how the Lt Gov is being chased away. There is also one where she has been portrayed as Goddess Kali.
These posters are sure to increase the tiff between the Congress and the former IPS officer. Bedi said that the posters are being put out by the local Congress unit as part of its series ‘Condemnation Agitation against the Central government and the Lt Governor for the process of nominating MLAs.’

After the three leaders were inducted by Bedi on July 4, there have been strong protests from the Congress, the DMK, the left parties, and the VCK. A bandh was also observed on July 8 in Puducherry by these parties to protest against the “undemocratic style of functioning of the Lt Governor and the nomination of three BJP activists by the Centre without adhering to democratic procedures.”
The parties had also said that they want Bedi to be removed as the L-G in the state.
