Congress has performed comparatively well and have managed to finish second. Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have gone into a denial mode and have blamed the blamed the EVMs for their embarrassing defeat in the civic polls. AAP has finished third in the MCD elections. On the other hand, BJP has swept off the elections and have registered a landslide victory. However, they have stated that they are going to keep the celebrations low key in remembrance of the CRPF jawans who were killed in the deadly attack by Naxals in Sukma area of Chhattisgarh.
