Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal might be putting a face of unity within the party, however, an internal rift has surfaed once again after photos of Dr Kumar Vishwas emerged outside AAP’s Delhi office. The posters dubbed Vishwas a ‘friend’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a traitor.
The posters read, “Bhajpa ka yaar hai kavi nahi gaddar hai; Chup Chup hamla karta hai vaar peeth par; aise dhokebaazo ko bahar karo bahar karo; Kumar Vishwas ka kaala sach batane ke liye bhai Dilip Pandey ka aabhaar. (He is a traitor and not a poet. He is the one who hides and stabs in the back, expel this cheater. Thanks to brother Dilip Pandey for telling the dark truth of Kumar Vishwas).”
Notably, Dilip Pandey had earlier this week questioned Kumar Vishwas for taking on Congress leaders, while being “soft” on Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. “Brother, you launch fervent attacks on the Congress but (you) say that you will not attack Vasundhara (Raje). Why?” Pandey had tweeted.
The AAP has been going through a troubled period of infighting since former minister Kapil Mishra rebelled against Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, alleging widespread corruption.

Earlier, AAP’s Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan had dubbed Vishwas an “RSS-BJP agent” and accused him of “plotting a coup in AAP.”
Vishwas is currently busy in strengthening AAP’s base in Rajasthan and is expected to hold a meeting with party observers for Rajasthan on June 19 and visit the desert state on June 25. However, he has faced some criticism even there. The AAP top brass and scores of its members have reportedly been unhappy with Vishwas after he asked party’s volunteers in Rajasthan not to stay in five-star hotels and farmhouses. Workers also did not like the series of allegations the poet-turned politician had levelled against Kejriwal and other party leaders.
