The love-hate relationship of Amar Singh continues with Samajwadi Party. After being expelled from the party, Singh on Wednesday hit out at party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and his former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav saying he is no longer able to relate to their brand of politics. He also claimed that his association with the Samajwadi Party has come to and end.
However, he is now all praises for UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He complemented Yogi for taking steps for the welfare of the farmers and also for acting tough on crime against women through his ‘anti-Romeo sqauds’.
“Yogi has taken steps that favoured farmers. He has indicated with the anti-Romeo squads that he will not spare any criminal activity to grow. He is acting tough on crimes against women. He is building coordination between police and people. In Uttar Pradesh, rajas were ruling and thus administration and people had become sick. And Yogi has come to treat these people. We should all welcome him,” Amar Singh was quoted on Times Now.
Amar Singh also targetted senior SP leader Azam Khan calling him a corrupt leader who did not even spare graveyards for making money. He was in the limelight recently when there was a bitter power struggle between Mulayam and Akhilesh. He was blamed by many in the party for creating fissures between Mulayam and Akhilesh.
Singh also targetted Akhilesh saying the former CM only showcased his half-finished work during his campaign for the state assembly polls.
