As Varanasi, the constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go on Polls on March 8 in the UP Assembly Elections 2017, Bharatiya Janta Party’s (BJP) is leaving no stone unturned to showcase their strength on March 3 when PM Modi held a massive roadshow. Apart from PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav are scheduled to hold rallies today in the city.
In the last lap of voting, BJP’as full focus is on Varanasi. Starting his road show from the Benares Hindu University (BHU) PM Modi will make his way towards Kashi Vishwanath Temple where he will offer prayers. He will reach Kashi Vishwanath temple covering Ravidas gate Lanka, Assi, Madani, Sonarpura, Godowlia and Basphatak areas in the city. He will also offer prayers later at the Kaal Bhairav temple and then address a rally later in the evening in the city.
However, the route of the roadshows taken by PM Modi and Rahul-Akhilesh have been determined in such a way by the district administration that their supporters do not come in each other’s way.

The Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance’s roadshow will also feature Dimple Yadav, the MP from Kannauj and wife of UP CM Akhilesh Yadav. The roadshow will start around 1:30 PM.
The prime minister will also address a rally in Jaunpur today.
