Why did Arvind Kejriwal sack Kapil Mishra from cabinet? Here's the AAP version

While Kapil Mishra has claimed he was sacked because he was "exposing" scam, the Aam Aadmi Party has a different story to tell

Ousted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Kapil Mishra stunned everyone on May 7 after he claimed that he had seen Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accepting a bribe of Rs 2 crore at his residence from Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain. He has also claimed that he has the required evidence to prove his claims.

However, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has denied all the allegations and have termed his allegations as “absurd” and “baseless”. He also said that such allegations are not even worth responding to. Kapil Mishra’s allegations comes a day after he was removed as the water minister of Delhi.

However, Mishra has claimed that he was removed from the post because he “exposed” the water tanker scam. Meanwhile, the party has maintained he was removed because the water management was not up to the mark.  AAP has also hinted Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) role in creating a rift within the party. In fact, not long ago, Arvind Kejriwal had held an emergency meeting and urged the senior party leaders to not allow the BJP to break the party. AAP has also claimed that Mishra was only making such claims because he was removed from his post.

A number of AAP supporters have come out to claim that Kapil Mishra’s allegations were nothing but BJP conspiring to wipe off AAP from Delhi.

Meanwhile, here’s what some of the netizens supporting Kejriwal said:

Arvind Kejriwal has not responded to the allegations as yet. However, Mishra has demanded an inquiry into the issue and has asked Arvind Kejriwal to explain where he got the money from.
