Explosion heard near Porbandar naval base, Navy clarifies it to be of firecrackers

A loud explosion near Gujarat's Porbandar naval base had triggered panic with police officials rushing to the spot.

An explosion was heard near naval base in Porbandar, Gujarat on Friday, ANI reported.

However, the Indian Navy clarified the explosion was of firecrackers.
