Race Course Road, which houses Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital, was renamed on Wednesday as Lok Kalyan Marg after a consensus emerged in the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC).
The proposal to rename the coveted address was moved by Delhi Member of Parliament Meenakshi Lekhi on Thursday.
Now, the PM’s address changes from 7 RCR to 7 LKM. The decision was announced jointly by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lekhi at a press conference.
