Day after he sparked a controversy with his ‘Khoon Ki Dalali’ barb on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Friday clarified that he supported the surgical strikes.
“I fully support the surgical strikes and I have said so unequivocally, but I will not support using the Indian Army in political posters and propaganda all across the country,” he tweeted.

On Thursday, Rahul launched a scathing attack on PM Modi, accusing him of exploiting the death of soldiers in the line of duty.
“The soldiers who spilled their blood for the country and carried out surgical strikes, you are hiding behind them and trying to cash in on their blood. They have done their work now you do yours,” he said while concluding his Kisan Yatra at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi.
