A Class 2 student of Gurgaon’s Ryan International school was on Friday found dead with his throat slit in the toilet. The accused Ashok Kumar has been arrested in the connection with the case even as parents demand a thorough probe into the case. There were hundreds of parents who had gathered outside the school in Gurgaon to protest against the management after a school bus conductor allegedly killed a boy after attempting sexual assault.
While the incident has terrified the parents across all schools, it is to be noted that this is not the first time that the school is in the news for the wrong reasons. There have been two cases earlier as well where the students lost their lives and brought the school to the dock. Despite the fact that the parents pay a hefty fee for their kids, is there no basic safety for them at these high-profile schools?

Here is a look at two other cases where the children from Ryan school lost their lives and brought the negligence of the school in limelight:
2. On Jan 2016, a six-year-old boy identified as Divyansh Karoda studying in Ryan International School in Vasant Kunj was found dead in a water tank inside the school premises. The school claimed that the boy studying in class 1 went missing from his classroom and was found in the water tank two hours later.
The police officials stated that the school did not inform them about the incident and it was through the hospital that the officers learned about the incident. The school further claimed that the child had “attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.” However, the parents refused any such claims and suspected foul play.
