Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani has ensured that his daughter Isha’s wedding turns out to be the sort of spectacle the world has rarely seen. The week-long extravaganza has seen larger-than-life celebrations with invitees ranging from Indian to international celebs all flown to stay in five-star hotels in Udaipur. According to local media reports, more than 100 chartered flights were arranged to fly guests to and from Udaipur’s Maharana Pratap Airport. Speculation were rife that about $100 million is being spent on the wedding, a claim rebuffed by a person close to the Ambani family who put the amount at less than $15 million. The event witnessed grand performances by Abhishek Bachchan with wife Aishwarya, Shah Rukh Khan with wife Gauri, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, among many others. Among the many highlights of the star-studded night was a dance video that showed former US first lady Hillary Clinton grooving with Shah Rukh Khan to popular Bollywood tracks.
