Congress MP Shashi Tharoor on Thursday hailed the Indian Army over carrying out surgical strikes across the Line of Control in the early hours of the day.
“I am very proud of the Indian Army. The real message has been sent to Pakistan,” Tharoor told ANI.
When asked about Pakistan government’s statement terming Indian operation as ‘unprovoked’, Tharoor said,”
What does Pakistan mean by ‘unprovoked’? Killing 18 of our soldiers is not provocation?”
“Whatever Indian Army did was very sensible, measured & proportionate form of retaliation,” he added further.
The Indian Army on Thursday conducted surgical strikes in seven terror pads across the Line of Control.
