Congress President Sonia Gandhi was admitted to hospital Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the national capital on Tuesday as she is reportedly suffering from viral fever.
Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala confirmed the news asserting that she was recovering under medical supervision, but will have to be in the hospital for the next two days.
This comes nearly three months after she was admitted in Ganga Ram hospital where she was undergoing a treatment for dehydration and shoulder injury. The Congress Chief was discharged from the hospital after being admitted for over 11 days.
She had left the roadshow in Varanasi halfway after she had dislocated her left shoulder during the rally. She was first admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital but was later shifted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi.
She also had to undergo a surgery on the same day.
