In a shameful behaviour, Shiv Sena MPs heckled Civil Aviation Minster as central government has refused to intervene on the flying ban put by various airlines on Gaikwad

Shiv Sena  MP Ravindra Gaikwad cries foul in the Parliament and mocks Air India official whom he assaulted few days back while travelling on a flight. Not only that, in a shameful behaviour Shiv Sena MPs heckled Aviation Minster Ashok Gajapati Raju as central government refused to intervene on the flying ban put by various airlines on Gaikwad. They were also demanding action against Air India official.

MPs said that the ban put on Gaikwad unacceptable and threathened that no flight will be allowed to fly out from Mumbai if the ban imposed on then minister is not lifted.

The situation got out of hands and Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani had to come for Raju’s rescue.

Ravindra Gaikwad in Parliament said that it was he who was assaulted by the Air India official first and what he did was a reaction to the action.

He said “I am grateful that you have allowed me to speak inside the House. The AI staff abused me and pulled me by my collar. But now the ban on flying is put on me.”

Refusing to apologise to Air India official whom he hit 25 times, Gaikwad in the Parliament said “I apologise to Parliament if I’ve caused any hurt, but not to the Air India official.”

However, Shiv Sena leader and Union Minister said, “No misconduct took place inside the house.” Home Minister said while reacting on the incident said that Aviation Minister Gajapathi Raju & Sena MPs will look for amicable resolution.
