While we never miss a chance to take a dig at our police force for a range of issues from corruption to apathy or even red-tapism , we should also acknowledge the good work done by them. A group of young constables at Moradabad’s Dr BR Ambedkar Police Academy has set an example for not only their colleagues but for entire humanity in how even a small gesture can impact the lives of the needy ones.
Rahul Srivastav, the Public Relations Officer to the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh on Friday tweeted how a hawker’s bicycle was stolen and then added how these young recruits came to his the elderly man a new bicycle. The tweet was embedded with a series of pictures showing the young cops taking selfies with the delighted hawker.
