Telugu Desam Party MP Naramalli Sivaprasad is a man who loves to don many avatars. No, we aren’t saying he is a part of any fancy dress event. We are saying he just has a very unique style when it comes to protesting.
The actor-turned-politician has been in the news because he is at the forefront of the protests in Parliament led by TDP MPs. The protesters have been demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. In March, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu led TDP parted ways with the NDA alliance over its alleged delay in fulfilling the promise. TDP also initiated a no-confidence motion against the BJP led NDA government in July. Even though Centre has chosen to ignore the protests, Sivaprasad has managed to grab everyone’s attention with his amusing outfits.
From Lord Rama and Lord Krishna to Narad Muni and Raja Harishchandra, Sivaprasad often dresses up as popular mythological characters. Not just mythology, he has shown his interest in history and has dressed up as BR Ambedkar, NTR, Adolf Hitler and Narasimha Reddy. He also chose to represent the common man and has played everything from a fisherman and a street singer to a tantrik and a schoolboy.
