This Bengaluru Techie Just Took A Horse To Office On His Farewell

A Bengaluru techie wanted to a unique way to bid work goodbye to his office on his last working day. And guess what he did to make it ‘memorable’? He rode a horse to his office.

Roopesh Kumar Verma, a software engineer, originally from Rajasthan, used to work at Embassy Golf Links campus in Intermediate Ring Road. He came up with this unique farewell act earlier this week to beat city’s rising vehicular traffic. Dressed in formals and with a laptop bag mounted on his shoulders, Roopesh went to his office on a horse. However, it took him 7 hours to reach his office that day.

His unique act revoked a lot of responses and reactions on social media. Many found his idea extremely amusing. But Roopesh said that his message was to promote vegetarianism and love for animals. He also wanted to register a protest against the chopping of trees which is done for the sake of widening of roads. He now doesn’t want to work for another company and intends to launch his own startup someday.
