This is not PM Narendra Modi! Photo of his doppelganger goes viral

If you weren't over with Bollywood, Twitter has brought Prime Minister Narendra Modi's doppelganger standing on a railway station

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is undoubtedly one of the most popular personalities in the recent times and has a massive following on Twitter. The social media is an amusing place that does not fail to astonish you. What if we tell you that someone spotted PM Narendra Modi’s doppelganger. No kidding. If you weren’t already over with Bollywood doppelgangers, the internet has brought to you the doppelganger of the Indian Prime Minister itself.

In an image, that has been going viral on social media, a man looking almost like  Prime Minister Narendra Modi was spotted standing at a railway station checking his phone. Of course, people started sharing the image widely.

All India Bakchod who has been embroiled in controversies in the past yet again found itself at the receiving end of a barrage of criticism for making a meme out of the image that went viral. AIB shared the image using a Snapchat dog filter inviting major backlash on social media for making fun of the Prime Minister and hurting “nationalist” sentiments.

While some users called AIB “sick” some went on to remind the infamous “AIB Knockout” incident and the time when Tanmay Bhatt was criticised for imitating Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar on Snapchat.

They took down the post in no time. Someone even tweeted to Mumbai Police demanding action against AIB for making a joke out of the picture:

Meanwhile, Tanmay Bhatt lashed out at the people criticising them and affirmed that they would continue making jokes, take it down and apologise if necessary. “Will continue making jokes. And deleting if necessary. And making jokes again. And Apologizing if necessary. Don’t care what you think,” he said in a Tweet.
