A 48-year-old Nepali sherpa has set a new world record of climbing world’s highest mountain – 22 times.
Kami Rita Sherpa reached the 8,850-meter summit on Wednesday along with a group of 13 other climbers.
Prior to his recent summit, Kami shared the record of 21 summits with two fellow sherpas. Now, he’s the sole record holder.
Kami returned to base camp on Sunday. However, he’s not done yet. Kami wants to scale Mount Everest at least 25 times.
Will he be able to do it?
