Three Pakistani nationals, including two women arrested in Bengaluru for staying under false identities

Three Pakistani nationals, including two women, were arrested in Bengaluru for entering and staying India on invalid documents. According to reports, one Indian national has also been arrested for facilitating their entry.

According to a News18 report, the Crime Branch arrested the four people on from Kumaraswamy Layout area in south Bengaluru on May 24 night. The report suggests that they had been staying the area for the last nine months.

According to the report, the three Pakistani nationals had been able to create documents to prove they were from India and had even got Aadhaar cards made. Now the cops will probe as to how they got biometric enabled IDs without any address proof is being verified.

The arrested have been identified as Sameera, Kashif (Sameera’s cousin) and Kashif’s wife Kiran Gulaam. All are said to be from Karachi. The arrested Indian has been identified as Mohammed, a native of Kerala.

Police Commissioner Praveen Sood said that following the arrest the central agencies and the Pakistan Embassy were informed and they are now verifying the information that the accused have given to the cops. The arrested person had reached Nepal first, then from there they reached Patna and later Bengaluru.

According to the cops, Mohammed had met Sameera in Qatar, where he was, until last year. They both soon fell in love and Mohammed promised Sameera that he would help her get into India.

Sameera’s cousin Kashif and his wife also expressed their desire to come to India, and Mohammed is said to have allegedly helped all three reach India.
