The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a petition seeking to send Indian Muslims to Pakistan. The matter came up for hearing before a Bench of Justice Rohinton Nariman and Vineet Saran, Indian legal news portal, Bar & Bench reported.
Visibly upset at the prayer, Justice Rohinton Nariman asked the petitioner’s counsel to read out the prayer loud. Justice Nariman further asked whether the counsel seriously intends to argue this in the court of law adding that he will pass strictures against the petitioner once the bench will hear the plea.
“Do you seriously want to argue this? We will hear you but we will pass strictures against you.” he said.
However, the petitioner’s counsel declined to argue the plea prompting the top court to dismiss the petition.
The fact that such a ‘mischievous’ petition was even allowed to be presented before the honourable bench riled up many social media users.
#PIL in the #SupremeCourt to send Indian Muslims to #Pakistan lands before Justice RF Nariman, who lambasts the petitioner:
Nariman J: What’s this? Do you really really want to argue this case? Are you sure?
Petitioner: Umm.. No my lord.
Nariman J: Okay.. Dismissed

What kind of nutcase lawyers do we have in the country. Why just dismissed the case, the court should have fined and penalized the lawyer for even bringing a lawsuit like this in the first place
