‘I was kidnapped’ says AIADMK MLA S Saravanan, files FIR against Sasikala and Palanisamy

In a fresh event amidst ongoing Tamil Nadu Political crisis, an AIADMK has filed FIR against Sasikala Natarajan and the new party chief Edappadi K Palanisamy on February 15. AIADMK MLA S Saravanan filed kidnapping case in Kuvathur Police Station. S Saravanan is MLA from Madurai.

Earlier, in order to prove the majority and keep the flock together Sasikala kept the party MLAs along with S Saravanan at Golden Bay resorts in Mahabalipuram on February 10 to avoid any deflection towards caretaker Chief Minister O Pannerselvam’s camp. David Warner on Virat Kohli’s unbeaten streak: India crushes team in their own backyard!

Australia are to play India for four-match Test series against the hosts starting February 23. Team Australia have landed in India ahead of their tour. Instead of the usual off-the-field banter, this time around Australian opener David Warner goes on to praise Indian skipper Virat Kohli.

India recently registered their sixth series win on the trot by beating Bangladesh in one-off Test at Hyderabad. Kohli’s on a roll as the Hyderabad Test was his 19th Test without a defeat. Brahmos missile range extended from 300 km to 450 km, to be test-fired next month

After India’s entry into prestigious Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), that has removed impediment vis-a-vis New Delhi’s collaboration with Moscow on a joint project, the country is planning to test a new version of Barhmos cruise missile aiming to increase its reach b y 150 km, over its current range of 300 km.

An extended range of version of the missile with an aim to reach 450 km , a shade above its current MTCR capped range of 300 km, is expected to be tested around Mrach 10, DRDO chief S. Chridtopher said. Read More
