Days after mutilated bodies of two Indian jawans were recovered by the army, it is being reported that their body parts were allegedly taken to the other side of the border. India who has termed the act as a “heinous act” has affirmed that they have enough evidence to prove Pakistan’s role in the act.

“The Indian side has sufficient evidence that this act was committed by personnel of the Pakistan Army who crossed the Line of Control in the Krishna Ghati sector. The government also demanded that Pakistan take immediate action against its soldiers and commanders responsible for this heinous act,” Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Gopal Baglay told the media.

According to sources close to the NDTV, the “killers” took the body parts of the jawans to the other side leaving behind a trail of blood. India has also summoned Pakistani envoy Abdul Basit while demanding stern action against those responsible. This comes after Pakistan denied all allegations and demanded appropriate evidence to prove Pakistan army’s role in the incident.

“Pakistan Army did not commit any ceasefire violation on the LoC or a BAT action in the Buttal sector (Indian Krishna Ghati Sector) as alleged by India. Indian blame of mutilating Indian soldiers’ bodies is also false,” the Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR) stated.

The Indian Army on Monday confirmed that the bodies of two Indian soldiers in the patrol were mutilated by the Pakistan army after Pakistan violated ceasefire and “carried out unprovoked Rocket and Mortar firing” along the Line of Control in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
