Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Delhi has come up with an innovative nasal filter that prevents the toxic particulate matter from getting into the respiratory system.

Designed by a group of six IIT graduates, students and professors, the nasal filters make use of nanotechnology and can last up to 8-10 hours. The filters boast 95 percent success in preventing the inflow of PM 2.5, and also claims to be a first-of-its-kind nasal filter for air pollution.
