A video of the Border Security Force (BSF) troopers performing at the India-Pakistan border is going viral on Facebook, having been viewed more than 1.6 million times since it was uploaded on Tuesday. The video was put up on the Facebook page of an Indian military news portal, Defense News India, and shows men and women officers of the paramilitary force dancing to Punjabi songs in front of a cheering crowd of Indian onlookers.
The video clipping also glimpses at Pakistani guards standing on the other side of the border, looking at their Indian counterparts while they dazzle spectators with their smooth dance moves.
The Wagah-Attari border in Punjab, where the video is shot, is one of several border crossings that’s frequented by civilians from both countries. Performances such as this and other colourful expressions of art and patriotism are common here, more so, on the Indian side.
The gate closing ceremony at the end of the day is one of more popular shows at Wagah-Attari border.
If you can’t get enough of it, have a look again.
