Watch: 7-year-old Shreya writes to PM Modi, says she supports his demonetistion move

She wants to see a neat and clean India.

While the opposition parties continue to slam Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decision to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, this 7-year-old girl has written a letter to PM Modi hailing the demonetisation move.

Meet Shreya, a 7-year-old girl from Bengaluru who has written to the Prime Minister expressing her support to the demonetisation drive while stating that she wants to see a “neat and clean India.”

“We support your note ban to stop black money. We want good and clean India. We love you,” she wrote.

In her letter, Shreya also expressed her desire to meet the Prime Minister and give him a gift that she had made herself. Proudly asserting that she is a Modi fan, Shreya said that the Prime Minister “supports everybody,” which is why she supports him.

Also, Shreya glued the now banned Rs 500 note with PM Modi’s picture on the left and her picture on the right in the letter.

Recently, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who does not refrain from hitting out at the centre, tweeted out a video of a little girl whole-heartedly criticising PM Modi’s demonetisation move.

In the video, she questions PM Modi’s move to demonetise higher currency notes and in her own furious manner tells him the problems people are facing because of his decision. She also firmly says that they don’t have any black money and the common people are not being able to do a basic thing as cutting hair or withdrawing money from the bank.

Either ways, watching these little ones speak about such a massive move is refreshing.

PM Modi took the nation by surprise on 8 November with his decision to demonetise higher denomination currency notes. Even though the banks and the ATM’s continue to struggle to meet the demand, the move has managed to hold immense support from a large chunk of the country.
