In a shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh, a doctor was beaten up by the relatives of a deceased patient in Bulandshahr who alleged that person died due to medical negligence.
In a video that has gone viral, a doctor can be seen being thrashed by the family members of the deceased patient. The doctor who has been identified as Sanjeev Yadav operated a woman on Thursday, few hours after the operation the woman passed away.
Relatives alleged that the woman died due to medical negligence and this would not happened if she was given proper treatment. The whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera and the doctor has been taken into police custody.
The incident has come when junior doctors in Maharashtra are on a strike after one of their colleagues was brutally assaulted at a government hospital in North Maharashtra’s Dhule district.
Seeking security for the doctors, the protesters are demanding that only two relatives should be there inside the patient ward as they put a lot of pressure on the doctor and misbehave with them.

On March 23, Showing solidarity to the protest going on in Maharashtra, around 1,200 resident doctors of AIIMS came up on duty wearing helmets. Also, junior doctors in Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) on Friday turned up in the hospitals wearing to show support for protesting doctors of Maharashtra.
