West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released the results of Madhyamik (Class X) exams. Students who are waiting for their results can also pre-register on exametc.com to get the notification about result when it is announced.
This year, Class X examinations were held between 22 February and 3 March. According to reports, over 10 lakh students had appeared for the examination.
The WBBSE conducts the Class X examination in the state. All private and government education institutions come under the purview of the board.
The students can check the results on the official websites – wbresults.nic.in, wb.allresultsnic.in and examresults.net.
According to an Indian Express report, earlier, Dhruvo Chakraborty, a WBBSE official had informed that the results will not release mid-May, like last year.
“Results are expected to be declared on the last week of May,” he had said.
Last year, Souvik Barmam of Mathabhanga High School, Cooch Behar was the topper of the examination securing 683 marks out of 700. In 2016, around 11.4 lakh students had appeared for the WBBSE Class X examination.
Steps for checking your result on the official website:
1. Open the WBBSE official website: wbresults.nic.in
2: Enter your roll number and other required details in the respected fields.
3: Click on ‘Submit’
4: Your results will be flashed on the screen.
Meanwhile, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare Class 12 results on May 28, as per an update by the PTI.
The result will be available on the board’s official websites – cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in on Sunday. Earlier, there were reports that the result could be delayed due to the ongoing mark moderation policy issue.
