'What Is PUBG?,' Anand Mahindra's Reply To Tweeps Is Every Parent's Question

People had spotted a Mahindra tractor and had been asking him how it got there

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG is one of the most popular video games of 2018. It may have crossed 100 million downloads on iOS and Android platforms combined, but that puny number doesn’t intrigue 63-year-old business tycoon Anand Mahindra.

Mahindra, much like our parents would, asked Twitter what PUBG meant. Unlike millennials who would rather Google than suffer the embarrassment of not knowing.

On Wednesday, Mahindra was perplexed when a Twitter user asked him how a tractor with his company’s logo ended up on one of the vehicles in the video game. He said, “Ok, I admit I’m embarrassed. I try to keep abreast of the latest happenings in the world but what on earth is PUBG? And of course I’m pleased a Mahindra tractor figures in it. What happens to the tractor, by the way?”

It was YouTuber chocoTaco who first spotted the Mahindra tractor in PUBG. Since then several others have also noticed the tractor and have demanded an explanation from him.

While a few of the Twitterati try to enlighten him about the game, they also point out how the vehicle with the Mahindra logo is just a prop in the game.

One even suggested that the tractor needs servicing
