Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Brijbhushan Rajput has made threatening remarks against the minority community

Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Brijbhushan Rajput has made threatening remarks against the minority community. In a facebook video, the Charkhari MLA said that if Hindus are allowed to build a Ram Temple in Ayodhya, then only he will allow Muslims to go to Haj.

Calling upon 100 crore Hindus to take a vow to construct Ram temple in Ayodhya, the BJP leglator said, if the Muslims community will try to create obstacle in this work that I will not allow them to visit Mecca and Madina. (Agar Bhagwan Shree Ram ke mandir banane me muslim samaj ke logon ne rukawat paida ki to yakin maniye mulsim samaaj ke logon ko makaa madina jane se rokne ka kaam apka vidhyaka Guddu Rajput karega).

He further questioned the reservation for the minority community saying,if there are 20 crore muslims in the country how could they be minority, hence there reservation should be scrapped. (Agar ye 20 crore muslaman hain to inhein aarakshan ki suvidha kyon milrahi hai, isse bhi khatm kiya jai)

This is not the first time BJP leaders are accused of making provocative remarks against the minority community. In April, BJP MLA from Hyderabad, T Raja Singh had said that he would behead those who opposed to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. “If there is anybody who has the guts to say he would stop the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, let him come forward. I challenge that I will behead him,” he had said.

Without referring to the Muslim community leaders opposed to Ram Mandir, Singh said: “Let them come and touch our feet. We shall construct a mosque for them somewhere nearby.”

It was last year during a condolence meet over death of a VHP member in February, BJP MP Babulal asked the party cadres to start a fight against Muslims. “Don’t try to test us… We will not tolerate insults to the community. We do not want unrest at any cost, but if you want to test Hindus, then let’s decide a date and take on Muslims,” he had said.
