In an extremely shocking and controversial statement a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Muzaffarnagar city of Uttar Pradesh, Vikram Saini has asserted that he will not hesitate on breaking the limbs of people who hesitate in proud saying “vande materam”. He further said that he will also break hands and legs of people who do not consider cows to be their mothers and kill them.
Saini said that he had promised all of these before the elections and he stills stands by them. He made this statement during an event in the state in the presence of other BJP minister including Suresh Rana who reportedly made an attempt to stop him. It is not the first time Saini has made such controversial statements. As per reports, Saini had made a number of provoking statement during Muzaffarnagar riots.

This statement comes amid Yogi Adityanath taking charge as new chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and shutting down a number slaughterhouses in the state. Yogi Adityanath has also set up anti-Romeo squads to deal with the eve-teasing menace in the state. The anti- Romeo squads made headlines after visuals of police officials arresting young couples surfaced on TV and social media.
The new UP CM who went on succeed Akhilesh Yadav has also banned consumption of pan masala, tobacco and plastic in all government establishments in the state including government schools, hospitals and offices while urging the officials to keep the surroundings clean.
