Number of road accidents in India is more than the number that has been recorded across the world, according to transport minister Nitin Gadkari. However, even this rising number won’t stop a few of the drivers from driving on the wrong side of the road.
Pune’s Amanora Park township has vowed to become the exception and not the rule, as they installed “tyre-killers” around the locality to keep wrong side drivers from breaking traffic rules.
Wrong side driving is a terrible nuisance and has led to numerous gruesome deaths. The rest of the country could take a few pointers from Pune.
