In a shocking incident of medical apathy, a hospital in Uttar Pradesh allegedly forced a patient to use his severed leg as a pillow.
The incident took place at Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College in Jhansi on Saturday, March 10. 28-year-old Ghanshyam was injured in a bus accident on Saturday in UP’s Mauranipur.
Following medical aid, his leg was amputated by local doctors. He was admitted to the Jhansi hospital for further treatment where doctors allegedly used his severed leg as a headrest for him.
Hospital administration has ordered an inquiry and suspended 4 hospital staff members.
