The silicone sponge that went viral is the biggest makeup fail of 2017. It gives you a greasy, unfinished look. Avoid it at all costs!

This isn’t 1993 and you’re not 5, don’t try to look ‘matchy-matchy‘.
Over-contouring
That Kim K contour looks good in magazines, not real life. Keep it natural and don’t go overboard with that brown stick.

Over highlighting
Highlight tip of the nose makes it look unnatural and plasticky. Highlight the cupid’s bow instead. Also, stick to silver and golden, holo colors aren’t for everyone!
Bold eyes and bold lips
If you go heavy on the eyes, the lips should be subtle, and with a brighter/darker lip, the eye makeup should be understated!
