On makeup day: “Ah! you are wearing lipstick. Who do you want to impress?”
On no-makeup day: “Is everything fine? You had a breakup or what? Why are you looking so different? OMG! You are not wearing makeup today. You look so different without it.”
Whether you wear makeup or not, people are still bound to judge you. If you wear makeup, they either think you do that to impress a guy or assume it’s your “pass” to not work in the office (makeup works for you, after all!). If you don’t, they think you’re either sick or on your periods or both.
There is just one thing people need to understand. We wear makeup because we love it and if we don’t want to, then we simply don’t. There’s no hidden conspiracy, y’all! So get over it.
