The Rs. 3 Crore engagement ring, the incredible guest list and a larger than life celebration, it is still one of the most unforgettable weddings of Bollywood. Shilpa Shetty dolled up in a red saree by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani. It was finished with 8000 Swarovski crystals and was valued at Rs.50 Lakhs. She was also loaded with uncut diamonds, emeralds, and Kundan jewellery.

Genelia D’Souza
Genelia D’Souza tied the knot with her long time boyfriend Riteish Deshmukh in 2012. They had a Maharashtrian-style wedding followed by a Church wedding. For the former event, Genelia wore a red and gold bridal saree designed by Neeta Lulla and traditional Maharashtrian jewellery. The border of her saree was embellished with gold Kundan embroidery. The cost of her saree is rumored to be around Rs. 17 Lakh.
Esha Deol
Esha Deol got married to businessman Bharat Takhtani at ISKCON temple in Juhu in an intimate ceremony. She wore an elegant custom-made red Kanjeevaram saree by none other than designer Neeta Lulla which costed more than Rs 3,00,000. She looked breathtakingly beautiful. Esha paired her saree with heavy gold, diamond, and emerald jewellery making her one of the prettiest brides in Bollywood.
Kareena Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor got married to Saif Ali Khan in a truly royal style wedding. The five-day nuptial ceremony was attended by royal families, politicians and film industry. Kareena changed her look several times on her D-day but for the evening she dressed in her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore’s gharara which she had worn at her own ‘nikaah’. The antique Pataudi outfit was reworked by Manish Malhotra and restored by designer Ritu Kumar. At her reception, she wore a burgundy and maroon lehenga created by Manish Malhotra.
Dia Mirza
Dia Mirza got married to filmmaker Sahil Sangha in the year 2014. She looked like a vision in a traditional emerald green and gold lehenga by Ritu Kumar. It was a unique bridal outfit and made out of kurta, farshi, pajama and a dupatta. It had zardozi embroidery, the kind of craftsmanship that dates back to the Mughal era.
