Akshay Kumar is quite busy these days with the promotions of his upcoming release Toilet — Ek Prem Katha. So, recently the actor along with his co-star Bhumi Pednekar went on to promote their movie on dance reality show Dance Plus 3. Well, there is nothing much to say about the promotion, but Akshay’s look. He surprised everyone with his quirky sense of style. Khiladi Kumar might just have started a new trend.

While he was dressed in a crisp blue shirt and formal pants with a checkered tie, he did something unexpected with his footwear. He finally ditched his regular shoes and chose to give it a casual twist with folded sleeves and chappals. Yes, you that’s true! He wore flip flops with his otherwise strictly formal attire. Chappals with formals? Are you judging from this picture? Well, we are happy looking at him this way. We love how Akshay Kumar carries off this look with pure finesse. Even those chappals couldn’t make him look any lesser of a gentleman that he is. Maybe he forgot that he is wearing those chappals, or maybe he wore them purposefully. What really matters is that he is not even trying and still making us drool. Maybe it’s true what they say -it’s not about the dress but the person who is wearing it. This amalgamation of formals with casual chappals seems like a fun and interesting look to try (Not when you are going to a formal event, of course). Akshay Kumar is busy promoting his movie Toilet — Ek Prem Katha. The film, based on the subject of women lacking proper sanitation facilities and the need for a proper bathroom in every household to reduce health issues in the country, will release on August 11, 2017.
