US President Donald Trump’s daughter and White House advisor Ivanka Trump landed in India on Tuesday morning to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 in Hyderabad. While a lot has already been said and written about the highlights from Day 1 of her visit, here’s a look at the selection of her clothes for the three-day summit.
LOOK 1 –
Ivanka Trump, whose father Donald Trump, asked people to choose American products over others in his election campaign, is often accused of bypassing that particular request while picking her wardrobe. In Hyderabad however, Ivanka landed wearing a beautiful embellished black jacket by American designer, Tory Burch.
With exquisite beads, stones and sequence, Ivanka paired the jacket with matching black trousers that gave the outfit a semi-formal look.
The ‘Sylvia Jacket’ from Burch has buttons made from mother-of-pearl. The extravagant coat costs $1298 (Rs 83,663).

For her second look, Ivanka went a different route; attending the inaugural session of GES 2017 in a beautiful green floral print Geneva cutout pleated jacquard midi dress from Erdem Moralioglu, a Canadian designer of Turkish descent.
Cut in a fit-and-flare silhouette, this dress is inspired by the designer’s Turkish heritage and costs $3550 (Rs 2,28,815).

After the inaugural session of GES 2017, Ivanka Trump attended a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Taj Falaknuma. The pretty lady again opted for a Tory Burch dress.
Ivanka Trump wore a cosmic floral floor-length Alice Dress, embellished with exquisite metallic embroidery and sequences which costs $3498 (Rs 2,25,464).
For those of you who are not aware of the controversy associated with Ivanka’s own fashion line, which she still owns but does not manage, here’s a little eye-opener. In one of its investigative report, the Washington Post concluded that despite promoting “Made In America’, many of the products of her fashion line are manufactured in Asia. In fact, it also raised many questions on Ivanka Trump’s commitment to promoting female empowerment.
