Deepika Padukone To Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: B-Town Beauties Rocked Cannes 2018 Red Carpet Like A Boss

From Deepika Padukone to Kangana Ranaut and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, it won’t be wrong to say that our Bollywood beauties slayed the Cannes 2018 red carpet with their back to back stunning appearances. While on one hand, Kangana made sure to stick to the vintage retro theme for all her looks…

And Deepika chose to play with a palette of soft pastels, bright solids and bold metallic colours.

On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stole the show with her out-of-the-box colourful blingy sartorial choices.

And while each and every outfit of these beauties from the Cannes 2018 was straight out of a fairytale, here’s a look at the ones that made it to our most favourites list:

The bold and beautiful

We still can’t believe that it was Queen Kangana’s debut at the Cannes 2018. The actress carried every look with utmost perfection, but the one that totally made our jaws drop was this Nedo By Nedret Taciroglu all-beaded embroidered catsuit, which is indeed a very bold choice to make. But Kangana made it look like a cake walk.

With her hair left open, Ranaut went for a smokey eye look with just a hint of colour on her lips and walked the red carpet like royalty.

When all hell broke loose

This is the most daring and dramatic outfit you can ever imagine Deepika Padukone in. Wearing a ruffled mullet-cut fuchsia Ashi Studio SS18 Couture dress, Deepika totally took our breath away with her red carpet appearance.

With her hair tied in a high bun, Deepika went for a nude lips-smokey eyes combination and completed her look with over 100 carats of Colombian emerald earrings and a pink sapphire ring from Lorraine Schwartz.

Of butterflies and more

Designed by Michael Cinco this stunningly gorgeous ultra-violet gown of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is what dreams are made of. Described by the designer as ‘The Impalpable Dream of The Butterfly’ this intricately handcrafted 10-foot long train took 3,000 of man-hours to finish. Embellished with Swarovski crystals and French pailettes, the cape is made using all shades of violet, red and blue threadworks.

With her hair left open, Aishwarya went for an equally bold makeup with glittery eyes and bright red lips. She completed her look with gorgeous matching amethyst and pink sapphire jewellery from De Grisogono’s Melody of Colours collection and slayed the red carpet like a pro.
