Deepika Padukone's Desi Avatar At The Time 100 Gala Is What Fabulous Looks Like

After being named as the only Indian actress to make it to the list of Time’s 100 most influential people this year, Deepika Padukone recently attended the Time 100 Gala and what an appearance! The actress made our jaws drop with her desi avatar.

Styled by Shaleena Nathani, DP wore a heavily embellished ivory saree from Anamika Khanna with an elegant flower detailing on one shoulder. As if the beautiful detailing on the outfit was not enough, the long cape-style train with aesthetic detailing at the hem added character to the look, making it a lot more pretty and dramatic.

Deepika tied her hair neatly in a sleek ponytail and elevated her look with a dewy makeup, accentuating it with a bold lip colour and a matching nail paint. Ditching too many accessories, the diva completed her look with just a pair of classic earrings from Farah Khan’s jewellery collection.

Last but not the least, DP arrived at the red carpet with a big smile on her face and posed happily for the shutterbugs. Channelling her inner desi girl, a few moments later DP joined her hands in a ‘Namaste’ and it was love at first sight.
