The 18th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) has kicked off with a lot of pomp in New York. And like every other Bollywood celeb, even Katrina Kaif looks quite excited. Though she started off with much glamour, her latest look at at the green carpet IIFA Rocks 2017 just failed big time. We already know that the Jagga Jasoos actress plays safe when it comes to fashion, but it seems this time she just got in the mood to experiment. And it went wrong.

Usually, Katrina Kaif makes sure to look her best. However, she just missed it last night. Well, for the first time, Katrina chose something very experimental and it was a bad choice. Everything about her look is just too shiny. So, she wore the red ruffled saree that was just too much for the green carpet or any other event and is not at all going with her personality. She paired her saree with a golden blouse and it’s right on our face. Nope, sorry but crystal beaded tassel blouse with bright red ruffles — too bad to pair together. A big No, Katrina! It seems this time Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation failed.

Coming to her golden earrings, it is too much to go with the attire. Wearing something simple and elegant would have been better. Her overall look is wrong at every level and we really hope she doesn’t go this way for the main event. Even her stylist Tanya Ghavri would have thought of this. It seems Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla creation couldn’t help her to get any brownie points. We loved her makeup and hair, but even that looked a little weird with her attire.

And of course, to ruin it all that peek-a-boo of her golden blouse is just an add-on. Oh! Katrina, you certainly can do better and we have seen that in past. Please don’t wear something like this for the main event.
