Remember Aamir Khan and Kajol-starrer Fanaa? Yes, we are talking about the film for which Kajol received Filmfare Award for Best Actress. So, we all know Aamir is one of the most versatile actors and so is Kajol. We loved his 3 Idiots, Dangal, PK and other films too and no doubt Kajol looked best in Ishq, Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Gupt, DDLJ and more. And now we are waiting for Aamir’s Secret Superstar, but Kajol? Where is she? Of course, we are not talking about her ads, Twitter and Instagram feed. 52-year-old married Aamir is still doing wonders on-screen, but 43-year-old Kajol is no more seen in films. Why?
Though we know about Bollywood’s tendency of casting older actors with younger females, Kajol is still younger then Aamir, Shah Rukh, Salman, Ajay Devgn. No? Oh! Is it that directors and producers are in a mindset that audience might not like to watch a married woman on-screen. But wait. Have you seen her photos lately? She is one of the most gorgeous women in Indian film industry.
After working in more than 30 films and winning 13 awards, why is Kajol missing from the movies? She is definitely not a bad actor. What is it then? Age? Looks? We don’t think so that should be a problem. Kajol looks ravishing and her fashion statement is as glamorous as any other Bollywood star from the current lot.

Tabu: Even Tabu, one of the most talented actresses, is not seen regularly in films. She was last seen in 2016 release Fitoor and now she will be seen in Golmaal. Why is it like 45-year-old actress is not working in as many films as 50-year-old Akshay Kumar or 47-year-old Saif Ali Khan?
Rani Mukerji: Yuva, No One Killed Jessica, Mardaani, Black — It was Rani Mukerji, who just nailed it with her performance in these films. Soon after her marriage with Aditya Chopra in 2014, Rani’s Mardaani was released. We thought, finally an actress who will continue working in the industry, but poof, Rani was nowhere seen after the release. Have you seen her lately? Though Rani will soon be seen in Hichki, we really want her to sign more films.

Madhuri Dixit: In the 90s,’dhak-dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit took Bollywood by the storm, then why can’t she now? She has always remained the most beautiful actress of Indian cinema. But then why is she limited to just a guest appearance? We totally loved her in films like Gulaab Gang and Dedh Ishqiya, then what stopped her. She still looks same. She has a gift of living every character. Whether it was a dancer Madhuri or an actor Madhuri, she knew how to slay. Madhuri Dixit is as fit as she was then and her skin is as glowing as forever.
