Heels are a raged accessory of a woman’s wardrobe, but we all would agree that running around for hours in high heels is hard. And to our surprise, shoe giant Saint Laurent aka YSL just took the difficulty level a notch higher by introducing roller skater pumps (Stilettoes with roller wheels attached to its sole). No, we are not joking! YSL is one of our Bollywood celebs favourite shoe brands and we really don’t know if this masterpiece will make its way to any of our stars wardrobe.

The luxury design house has rolled out its eyebrow-raiser roller skate heels under new creative director Anthony Vaccarello who unveiled the hybrid accessory in its latest collection. The stilettoes have heels higher than 3-inch with a roller skate wheel attached to the bottom, two additional wheels and a kick-stop break (because safety first!). The style has four bold designs to choose from, which range from snakeskin slingbacks to simple polka dot pumps. These YSL wheeled-heels are essentially high fashion and we wonder what would be the appropriate place to flaunt your fashion while gliding around. YSL roller skate stilettoes

This isn’t the first time the luxury brand has added wheels to its footwear. It launched sneakers with roller wheels attached to its sole, but that was a feasible idea. This one, on the other hand, is a deadly combo. Wasn’t walking in heels hard enough? You obviously need to brush up your skating skills to wear these hybrid heels. It is not only a risky fashion call but there’s also a safety risk. Not just that, it will also burn a hole in your pocket if you wish to own a pair. The roller styles retail for $1,995 (Rs 1,28,074) and are available at Saint Laurent’s boutique in New York City. Currently, it is unavailable on the designer’s site but will be made available online very soon.
