It was a jubilant moment for the people of India when they got to know that Sushmita Sen will be one of the judges at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. Sushmita, who won the contest way back in 1994 was all ecstatic to share the news with her fans a couple of days ago. Although, this year, Indian contestant Roshmitha Harimurthy battled out at the contest but Sushmita Sen hogged all the limelight for gracing the event.
Right before the main event, the actress rocked the red carpet in a black coloured beautiful attire.Her pictures have been doing the round on social media. And let us tell you, she looked drop dead gorgeous.
The actress always dreamt of being a renowned name in the fashion industry. Interestingly, 23 years down the line, life has come to a full circle for the beautiful actress as she judged the Miss Universe contest this year.
In an interview to IANS, she said, “This is the moment where a Miss Universe is created. She gives an answer that connects larger consciousness so a well spoken Miss Universe is the idea and tonight I can see six of them right there.” The actress also walked the ramp and judged the contestants in the Q&A round. At the event, Sushmita Sen’s mesmerised us with her glittery silver coloured outfit.
As always, she stunned her fans with her elegant dressing sense. Unfortunately, Roshmitha Harimurthy couldn’t win the title for us as this year Miss France, Iris Mittenaere has been declared as the new Miss Universe 2016. The event took place in Manila, Philippines.
