Cricketer Zaheer Khan, who popped the question to long-time girlfriend and actress Sagarika Ghatke last month, got engaged to the pretty lady on Tuesday in a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by all the big wigs from the cricket and film industry including names like Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech, Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Bobby Deol and Prachi Desai among others.

Zaheer Khan shared the good news with his fans and well-wishers last month by sharing a picture of him and Sagarika and wrote: ”Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!!  Partners for life.” Have a look:

Zaheer and Sagarika’s grand engagement party was nothing less than a fashion feast, with all the celebs dressed there best. While the newly engaged couple decided to go for an elegant formal wear, with Sagarika donning a yellowish-green sweetheart neck gown and Zaheer in a gray suit, the celebs in attendance also opted for a rather simple party wear.

But Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli grabbed all the limelight as they walked hand in hand at the ceremony. While Anushka chose to wear a body hugging plain black formal dress, Virat went for a formal white shirt and paired it with a black trouser. And we must say the duo was looking amazing.

Apart from them, Raveena Tandon made an entry wearing a flowy blue colour dress with flower prints all over it.

Actress Prachi Desai looked like a million bucks in a cold-shoulder summer ready baby pink colour dress and posed happily for the shutterbugs.
