Anil Kumble on Tuesday stepped down as the head coach of the Indian cricket team. He took this step after BCCI informed him that skipper Virat Kohli was not happy with his ‘strict’ methods of coaching. Anil Kumble, who took over 600 wickets in his Test career, informed about his decision through a Facebook post in which he pointed out that ‘captain (Virat Kohli) had reservations with his style and also with him continuing as the head coach’.
In his post, the former spinner also said, “I was surprised since I have always respected the role boundaries between captain and coach. Though the BCCI attempted to resolve the misunderstandings between the captain and me, it was apparent that the partnership was untenable, and I, therefore, believe it is best for me to move on.”
This rift between the two legends may hamper the performance of the Indian cricket team, which is currently in West Indies for 5 ODI & a T20, therefore, on this International Yoga Day, we have come up with few yoga asanas that will calm down both Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble and they will be able to come to a solution which will benefit the team India. These yoga poses will help them find peace in life and give calmness to the mind.

Dear Virat and Anil,
Do try these for a week and you will see the results. Here you go:
One of the easiest yoga poses that will help you achieve a calm mind is Tree Pose. Stand on either of your foot and let your other foot touch the knees of the first one. Join hands on the top of your head. Try to balance the position for around 30 to 40 seconds and repeat. While the yoga will make your mind calm, the passion for achieving that correct position will distract your mind from other negativity, no? Here is the video for help:
The series of 12 poses which is generally done facing the sun early morning in the open air certainly is a way to keep your mind calm. It is the best yoga asana that helps in keeping peace in life. Here is the video for you to help. Guys, by the time you will master these steps, all will be sorted. Yeah!
This simple breathing exercise certainly helps you to stay calm. You just have to sit cross-legged and keep hands on knees. Close your eyes, take deep breaths and inhale and exhale. While doing the process, your chest will expand and will deflate when breathing in and out respectively. Concentrate on the asana, and ignore everything else. Here is the video:
Another yoga pose that helps to calm your mind is Salutation Seal. Do this for 10 to 15 minutes and we are sure both Virat and Kumble will change their minds. For the asana, sit on the floor in a cross-legged position, take a deep breath and forget everything. See calmness here! Sonakshi tells you how to it:
First of all, lie face-down on the mat, place hands next to lower ribs, while Elbows hugging the sides of your body. Now, breathe in and straighten the arms and lift the torso and legs a few inches off the floor. Stay like this for 5 to 30 seconds. And post that you will not be able to think about any rift, any issues. You will just concentrate on your work. Yo! Okay at least will try.
