It has been more than a decade and we still have reminiscences of a sensuous Malaika Arora shimmying on top of a train with Shah Rukh Khan to the tunes of Chhaiya Chhaiya. Seventeen years later, she danced to Fashion Khatam Mujhpar in Dolly Ki Doli in 2015. And one can swear that she doesn’t look a day older than she did in that black lehenga and red choli in 1998’s Dil Se.
Malaika is one celebrity who has inspired millions of girls and women across the country to stay fit. She is a style goddess and makes younger stylists in the industry feel jealous. And she has been doing it ever since she first came into the limelight in the 90s.
Of course, people wonder what she does on a daily basis to look as gorgeous. The secret to her health and a great figure is often a thing of speculation.
Recently, while speaking to Vogue, she revealed that she is a foodie and loves biryani. She added that she believes in eating everything, and does not skip meals. In fact, she was also quoted saying, “I don’t diet. If I’m craving for a slice of cake, I’ll have it. For some people, rice and starch don’t work but I’m fine with that.”

After ringing the New Year’s Eve in Goa, she took to the Teaser Challenge set by her pilates instructor Namrata Purohit. She posted a picture on Instagram, challenging her friends to do the same. Although she doesn’t believe in dieting, she works hard and includes pilates, dance, and weights training in her workout.
She spoke about her health regime stating that even though one need not forbid oneself from anything but it is necessary to keep track of what she eats. Malaika’s fitness mantra is what one needs to go by rather than hooking on to fads to look fabulous. It is a tough work and looking like a million dollars is not something that one can achieve by just following silly trends.
